For a long time, the world followed a very traditional sense of fashion, ranging from watches to rings and everything else you can think of. However, with time, the world started getting dominated by technology in nearly every industry, including the fashion industry.
Today I’ll tell you about some of the most common, yet innovative ways that technology has made its way into the fashion industry. Likely, you might already be using these products without realizing it.
So, let’s find out!
Smartwatches
First up on my list is a good old smartwatch. Not only is it convenient to use, but it also looks pretty stylish on your wrist, if you know how to style it right. For instance, you can match the color of the clockface with your strap. Or better yet, you can match them both with the color of the clothes you are wearing.
Other than fashion, a smartwatch helps keep your health in check and lets you stay in shape as well. Most smartwatches come with an integrated real-time heart-rate tracker. This way you can keep an eye on any fluctuations. Similarly, a smartwatch can also help track your sleep, your stress levels, and your workouts as well.
However, for the proper functionality of your watch and for seamless syncing of data, your watch needs to be connected to a reliable internet service at all times, so you can monitor your health in real time. I recommend that you get Xfinity Internet at home so that only can you sync your data, not only with your smartphone, but with your laptop or PC too!
Augmented Reality (AR) Spectacles
The world was astonished when we were introduced to Augmented Reality (AR) for the first time. Same was the case with Virtual Reality (VR) as well. I remember when Google first created Google Glass, which was a pair of AR-powered spectacles.
However, due to a very low battery life and just limited performance, the project was later discontinued due to little success. However, even today I believe it was a great concept that could have been improved by a lot. I was later happy when I saw the Meta AI-powered sunglasses by Ray Ban though.
The Ray Ban Meta AI sunglasses offer a lot more functionality. For instance, you can take pictures and videos with your spectacles. You can also listen to music and make calls. So, if you want a futuristic approach to life, then you should seriously consider buying a pair of the Meta AI sunglasses.
Fitness Trackers
Feel like smartwatches are a bit out of budget for you? No need to sweat it, you can get a fitness tracker instead! While you won’t be able to make phone calls using your fitness tracker, you can still keep an eye on your general health, your sleep cycle, and your heart health.
A fitness tracker is typically a thin band on your wrist that comes with an LED display. However, the size of the fitness tracker usually varies from one brand to another. Some of the most popular fitness trackers include the ones from Fitbit.
However, since Google has acquired Fitbit, you can now get Fitbit’s functionality in any smartwatch with Google’s WearOS in it. Plus, a fitness tracker’s battery typically lasts you a lot longer than any smartwatch would, but if you’re looking for more fancy stuff then a smartwatch would definitely be the better choice.
Smart Jewelry
You can finally say goodbye to your boring old rings and necklaces and say hello to smart jewelry instead. For instance, there is a recent increasing trend of people wearing smart rings, which reduces the need for a smartwatch or a fitness tracker. A smart ring is typically capable of tracking your health just like a fitness tracker would.
A common example of a smart ring is the Oura Ring which is not only a good fitness tracker but it is very stylish as well. Plus, no one can tell that you’re wearing a fitness tracker since the ring looks like every other ordinary ring out there. The Oura Ring can track your sleep, your heart rate, and your activity levels. The best part is, the ring can go with all of your outfits!
Another example of smart accessories is the Motiv Ring which is pretty similar to the Oura Ring. It tracks your physical activity, your sleep, and your heart rate while looking great on your finger at the same time.
With the addition of smart rings and bracelets, you can add a healthy touch to your lifestyle by wearing seemingly normal, traditional accessories!
